Why Tallow & Tend?
When we started making skincare products, we knew we wanted it to be simple, nourishing, and made with ingredients our great-grandmothers would recognize. Many of our products start with grass fed beef tallow — the same stuff our ancestors used for centuries before chemical cocktails took over.
And Tend? Well, that one’s close to our hearts. It’s what we do every day. We tend to what matters. Our kids, our gardens, our homes, our farms, our souls. We know that through small acts of faithfulness, the things we love will thrive.
So Tallow & Tend felt just right. A little nod to both the ingredient that started it all and the care that goes into every jar.

Hi, I'm Jen.
I'm a wife, mom, farm girl, and the hands behind every jar, bar, and bottle at Tallow & Tend.
Growing up on a farm taught me to appreciate simple things that work well and to make the most of what we've been given. That's what inspired this business. I started Tallow & Tend because I wanted skincare made with ingredients I could trust. Products that nourish your skin instead of covering it with fillers, fragrances, and ingredients you can't pronounce.
Every product is handcrafted in small batches using grass-fed beef tallow and thoughtfully chosen ingredients that have been used for generations. They're products I use in my own home and proudly share with family, friends, and now with you.
My hope is that when you open a package from Tallow & Tend, you don't just receive great skincare. You feel connected to a simpler way of doing things. Honest ingredients. Thoughtful craftsmanship. Made with love for your family.
